Individually, young voters struggle to participate in the democratic process. They have neither the financial resources nor the valuable connections needed to directly reach politicians and influence elections.

THINK BLUE hopes to change that by empowering young New York Democrats and giving them a greater voice in the political process. Each election year, we will provide our members with the opportunity to pool resources and become an organized political force.

We will select five congressional and senate candidates who best represent the issues important to our generation and bring them to intimate meetings with our members. At those gatherings, our members will have direct access to the candidates and be able to raise their thoughts and concerns about America’s direction with its future lawmakers.

We hope that through our organization, young New York Democrats will finally be able to join together, contribute to the political process and gain increased influence with their elected officials.
